When the standard plan is not enough

Custom web development for complex requirements.

Custom is the path for functionality, content or integrations that extend beyond a focused static business website.

What makes a website Custom?

The standard JinggaWeb subscription is deliberately narrow so it can remain affordable. Custom work begins when a project needs application behaviour, substantial content operations, multiple external systems or a materially larger design and production effort.

Custom does not automatically mean an enormous project. It means the requirements need to be understood and priced independently instead of being forced into a subscription designed for simpler sites.

Common Custom requirements

Features that need more than static pages and ordinary content updates.

01

Commerce and payments

Product catalogues, checkout, subscriptions, taxes, inventory or payment-provider workflows.

02

Bookings and scheduling

Availability, capacity, confirmations, reminders, staff calendars or service rules.

03

Accounts and portals

Sign-in, member records, gated resources, role permissions or customer dashboards.

04

Data and integrations

Databases, APIs, CRM connections, automation and information shared across systems.

05

Multilingual publishing

Multiple languages, translation workflows, locale-specific content and international structure.

06

Larger content scope

Extensive page groups, migrations, information architecture or ongoing editorial workflows.

Before development

The questions that determine a responsible scope.

  • Who uses the feature and what must they accomplish?
  • What information is stored, changed or shared?
  • Which external providers must connect to the site?
  • What permissions, privacy or security obligations apply?
  • Who supplies content and maintains it after launch?
  • What would make the first version genuinely useful?
  • Which features can wait for a later phase?
  • How will success be measured after release?

How Custom work relates to the subscription

A Custom project may sit alongside a managed subscription, replace the standard plan entirely or begin with a smaller static marketing site while the advanced system is planned separately.

We do not start chargeable Custom production until the scope, responsibilities, price and delivery approach are agreed. If your brief is actually suitable for the standard $14 or $19 plan, we will say so.
